Shawn Kabemba, better Known as Shawn Kaystar, is arguably the most successful Artist Manager and Promoter in Zambia. Over the years, he has been on the frontier of Zambian music, with multiple accreditation to his name like Best Youngest Artist Manager and Promoter by the Promoters Association of Zambia.
In 2015, Shawn Kaystar became the first Zambian Artist Manager to be picked to represent Zambia in South Africa at the South Africa Music Awards Summit where he networked with Davido, Sarkodie, Ice Prince, Oskido, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Mafikizolo etc, held from 20th to 23th March in Sandown City.

Shawn Kabemba was born In Mufulira in the mid-80s, better known by his industry name Shawn Kaystar, is a Zambian Artist Manager, Promoter ,TV and Radio Personality from Lusaka.
Shawn started his career in 2007 while doing his last grade at The Kamwala High School, Upon School completion, He ventured into TV with CBC Television as a presenter and Producer ,Shawn become the first Zambian TV producer to do an exclusive Music Video countdown show. He was then promoted to Head of Entertainment in 2008.
RADIO CAREER.
Shawn Kaystar has been attached with several media houses locally but has always been a bonafide UNZA Radio Personnel, He joined radio in 2008 at UNZA Radio, and six months later became the first Zambian Director of Programmes and Head of DJs to work at the highest learning institution based radio station without a degree or diploma. His works at Unza upgraded his CV and gave him the opportunity to receive job offers from several media houses. He was partially working with Wits Radio from Wits University from Johannesburg, South Africa.
MARKETING CAREER.
From 2007 -2014 before he moved to South Africa, He saw his marketing dream achieved at an early age, He was signed by companies like Applemax, signs Shop Limited, Nasla Group of Companies, Food Palace Zambia, and Danish Bubble gums International as their Marketing and Advertising Manager.
GOOD LIFE MEDIA
In 2010, Shawn formed Good Life Media; He has done successful events like Macky2’s Legendary Launch, labeled the best album launch in the history of Zambian Music according to ZNBC News. We have hosted Beauty pageants like Miss Nipa, Miss Evelyn Hone, Miss UNZA, Miss Keep Zambia Clean, Zone Fam’s Channel O sendoff party and T Sean’s Free Album Launch etc
ARTIST MANAGEMENT
After setting his company up, he decided to venture into ARTIST MANAGEMENT which became the first management label in the country. He started working with the so now famous Multi award winning Hip-hop Maestro and Big Brother Africa Hotshots 2014 3rd finalist Macky 2 from 2010. During this time, saw the birth of his kid brother Chef 187 and Pilato.
INTERNATINIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
In 2014 December, Shawn Kaystar was appointed the official Agent for Sarkodie and Davido by their Management Team. Later this year ,he yet received another appointment from BET Award winning Dancehall Artist from Ghana Stonebwoy as His agent and Management working partner.
Shawn Kaystar is currently shooting his continental TV show showcasing Local celebrities who have made it and inspire millions in the country. The show will premier on DSTV Zambezi Magic.
